EUMETSAT is holding its second workshop on the Destination Earth initiative focusing on the Data Lake (DEDL) to shortlist Use cases candidates.

The workshop will also be attended by representatives of European Commission and our partners ESA and ECMWF.
Workshop objectives
The main objective of this workshop will be:
Define a mutually agreed subset of use case candidates suitable for validation of the Data Lake component and scoped to allow to be demonstrated by end of Phase I (June 2024).
The workshop will also allow for networking and exchange of further ideas.
Format
A two days hybrid event:
- Tuesday 11 July 14:00 – 18:30
- Wednesday 12 July : 9:00 – 16:30
Attendance at the workshop is at Best Western Plus Plaza Hotel in Darmstadt, Germany, or online via zoom. We strongly encourage participants to attend in person in order to engage and participate actively in the discussions.
The workshop will be minuted and a report will be distributed after the event.
Eligibility to register
Member states public institutions, ie public services and academia, are eligible to apply for participation.
