In particular, significant improvements have been made to ensure that ground-based measurements of ocean colour parameters are traceable to SI standards. This helps to ensure high-quality and accurate Sentinel-3 OLCI ocean colour products. The project was originally funded by ESA but has now been transferred to EUMETSAT, as the Agency responsible for Sentinel-3 ocean colour products processing and validation.
