Join the first WEkEO online training workshop and discover more about the platform
The WEkEO V1 cloud platform provides a gateway to a huge portfolio of Copernicus service and Sentinel satellite data, with harmonised data access, cloud processing and expert user support.

The online training workshop, beginning on 15 July at 10:30 (CEST), will focus on marine data products and aims to introduce beginners and new users to the WEkEO platform. Experts and users of Earth observation products will participate in this training, which will comprise comprehensive discussions and talks, as well as hands-on practical exercises to help you learn more about the WEkEO platform.
AGENDA
This online workshop will be conducted in three rounds, with an interval of two weeks for practical homework (Round 2):
- Overview of the WEkEO platform (webinar session and general presentation, including WEkEO data products and Jupyter Notebooks) – Round 1 on 15 July 2020
- Practical homework (perform hands-on exercises in Python, watch associated tutorial videos, use the forum to chat with experts) – Round 2 on 15 to 29 July 2020
- Questions about the exercises and debriefing session (discuss any blocking points) – Round 3 on 29 July 2020

WEkEO DIAS has been designed by EUMETSAT, Mercator-Ocean International, and the ECMWF, and implemented by industry, to provide easy access to Copernicus information and processing tools, in one centralised location, so that users can develop applications for their own specific needs.

The online WEkEO training sessions will benefit both existing and new WEkEO users. Use the WEkEO cloud-computing platform to learn about the use and possible applications of the original Copernicus and Satellite data. The audience interaction and sharing of experiences during these online sessions will also bring forth future training requirements for new products and tools, which can be included in the WEkEO portfolio in future.
