The 6th IASI (Infrared Atmospheric Sounding Interferometer) conference organised by EUMETSAT and the Centre National d’Etudes Spatiales (CNES) will be held in Nancy, France on 2-6 December.

The conference aims to share the scientific results based on the user of the hyperspectral infrared observations from the IASI instruments on board Metop satellites.
In addition to discussing the impact of IASI data in weather forecasting, atmospheric composition and climate monitoring, delegates will learn more about the innovative uses of IASI data and synergies with other instruments, or data fusion.
Status updates will also be provided on the preparation and implementation of new infrared hyperspectral instruments such as IASI-NG, MTG/IRS, FORUM; HIRAS and GIIRS in addition to techniques such as principal components and machine learning.
Abstract submission is open now, the deadline is 4 June 2024.
