2022 Ocean Surface Topography Science Team (OSTST) meeting
Venice, Italy - 31 October to 4 November 2022
The European Organisation for the Exploitation of Meteorological Satellites (EUMETSAT) and the Centre National d’Etudes Spatiales (CNES) are pleased to announce an important altimetry event in October/November 2022.
07 February 2022
20 July 2021
“Continued, enhanced ocean altimetry and climate monitoring from space” is a unique opportunity to explore the performances of the satellite altimetry constellation through the traditional Ocean Surface Topography Science Team meeting and also to provide a forum to reflect on user needs for future systems. The event will be held at the Lido in Venice, Italy, from 31 October to 4 November 2022.
Due to ongoing uncertainties involving the pandemic, the meeting was postponed to 31 October–4 November. Already submitted abstracts will be kept for this in-person meeting, but the submission process will be reopened allowing the authors to modify, withdraw or submit new abstracts.
Although the in-person meeting is postponed, we will organise a shorter virtual meeting during the originally planned dates (24-28 March), that will be restricted to high-level summaries and open discussions. This virtual meeting will not last the entire week and will be restricted to around 3 hours per day to allow different time zones to attend.
